Safety Rung for Transition Point
An accident black spot at the transition point on extension ladders has
been highlighted by Rungbuddy Limited (I.O.M.), and with an OSHA report
showing death has occurred at this point, they have patented a Safety
Rung able to increases the width of that first rung down, giving a safer
angle of descent by adding over 100% more landing space on that
“inverted” rung. A reverse screw clamp (safety toggle bar stays in one
position), gives secure fixing . Produced in aluminium, and amortised
blue, Rungbuddy Safety Rungs can also be used as a comfort platform,
with its unique clamp able to fit any shaped rung on any ladder, A
spring loaded Universal Telescopic model is now going through a series
of rigorous safety tests, able to fit all ladders up to 482mm (19ins)
wide, at the press of a button.
